Ski season is over… at least for those in New South Wales. While the snow in the Australian state was not quite near last seasons levels, that did not stop the people from hitting the slopes.

Belinda Shore, told ABC News, Businesses are pleased with accommodation and tourist spending.

Good news even after a sewage main brake, that could have hampered Perisher Resorts image.

The Snowy Mountains are just a mere  5 to 6 hours away from Sydney, Australia’s largest city.

So if your headed to the ski slopes down under you might be a bit disappointed. But with Snow practically on every mountain west of the Mississippi, North America might just be the place as we dive into October.
