Squaw Valley reminder: Three days left to buy your discounted season pass

It may only be October, but Squaw Valley is getting a fresh coat of snow today – its second of the anticipated 2009-10 season. With the wonderful wrath of El Niño bearing his face already, the Snow Gods’ outlook is promising for the fast approaching ski season when Squaw celebrates its 60th Anniversary and the 50th Anniversary of the 1960 Winter Olympics. Squaw Valley shocked skiers and riders last spring when the resort rolled out season passes at rates reminiscent of 1980. Although prices have climbed since the initial offer, 2009-10 Season Passes are being offered at a discounted rate for a limited time; prices increase after Thursday, October 15.

The 50/60 celebratory season kicks-off Nov 21, 2009, when the resort opens for skiing and riding, and Squaw Valley pro-skier and BASE jumper, JT Holmes, BASE jumps out of the legendary Squaw Valley Cable Car. In conjunction with the 50/60 celebration, the following is the adult pricing for the 2009-2010 season pass – if purchased by October 15, 2009.
