Okemo Mountain Resort readies for Opening Day on November 21

Opening Day at Okemo Mountain Resort is quickly approaching, and many things are going on to get the ski resort ready.  Air compressors in the base mountain area are ready to go when it’s time for snowmaking to begin, and 30 new tower guns were added to Okemo’s snowmaking power.  In light of everything being ready, Okemo VP and General Manager Bruce Schmidt says, “All we need now is some cooperation from Mother Nature in the form of cold temperatures.”  Hopefully the temperatures will fall soon, as opening day is less than three weeks away!
