Snowmaking has begun at Stratton Mountain Resort in Vermont, as the ski resort is set to open in less than three weeks, on Wednesday, November 25.  The first snowfall of the ski and snowboard season occurred in mid-October and the snow guns starting running this past Tuesday.  With the resort opening the day before Thanksgiving, the big holiday weekend will have many activities for visitors.  The fourth annual Stratton Gobble Wobble 5k is on Thanksgiving day, and runners and walkers are all welcome to participate.  Thanksgiving dinner will be offered at Bentley’s, with one seating at 5:30 pm and the second at 7:30 pm.
