Celebrities to descend on Deer Valley to kick off winter season

Deer Valley will be the place to be on December 5 and 6, as the annual Deer Valley Celebrity SkiFest hits the ski resort and kicks off the upcoming winter season.  The event also draws former Olympic ski legends, as they will pair up with both television and film celebrities of both skiing and fundraising for the environmental group Waterkeeper Alliance.  

Scheduled to compete in the Pro-Am race are U.S. Ski Team legends Steve and Phil Mahre, Tommy Moe, and Heidi Voelker.  Their celebrity counterparts include Cheryl Tiegs, Larry David, Cheryl Hines, Rob Morrow, and Neil Patrick Harris. The Pro-Am race will be on Saturday, December 5 at 1 p.m., and the final race will be at noon on Sunday, December 6.  CBS will televise the competition, and it will air on Sunday, December 20 at 5 p.m. et.
