Deer Valley Resort and Julie Wilson receive Restaurateur of the Year Award

Julie Wilson, Director of Food and Beverage for the Deer Valley Resort, and Deer Valley itself have been honored with the Utah Restaurant Association (URA) Golden Spoon Restaurateur of the Year award.  Wilson is the second woman to be nominated for the honor, which has been in existence since 1943.  She has been employed at Deer Valley since the ski resort opening in 1981, and the URA said that “she is one of the major reasons that Deer Valley has received the honor of best resort in the country.” She accepted her award last night at the South Towne Exposition Center.
