Situated 75 miles from Denver in Summit County, Copper averages 280″ of snowfall and is already open for business this winter season.  The season is one of the longest, as the ski resort is slated to be open until April 18, 2010.  There are several bowls for advanced skiers and boarders, and it also offers one of the best terrain parks in Colorado.  After a long day of skiing or boarding, there are several apres specials on food and drinks at the base of the mountain.  Make sure to get your Rocky Mountain pass soon so you can enjoy all that Copper has to offer!

Winter Park Resort is celebrating its 70th anniversary this season, and is also conveniently located, as it is 67 miles northwest of Denver.  It is Colorado’s longest continually operated ski resort, and is slated to open this season next Wednesday, November 18.  There are over 3,000 acres of terrain at Winter Park, and in honor of its anniversary, hotel rooms and studios are starting at $70 per night for opening week!  Purchasers of the Rocky Mountain Pass will be afforded unlimited skiing and boarding at Winter Park.

Steamboat Ski Resort and its 2,965 acres will open for business the day before Thanksgiving on Wednesday, November 25.  The ski resort rises 3,668 feet from the base to the summit, and almost half of the terrain is for advanced skiers and boarders.  The Steamboat Ski & Snowboard School has consistently been recognized as one of the strongest in the world, and offers a variety of clinics for all ages and abilities.  The Rocky Mountain Super Pass Plus and Ultimate Pass include skiing and boarding at Steamboat–visit for more information!
