The Lakefront Restaurant Mammoth Lakes

This intimate spot has long been a destination for diners in the know: incredible food, an impressive wine list, pleasant atmosphere and lake views are all part of the Lakefront experience. Chef de Cuisine Frederic Pierrel, trained at the Institute Culinaire de Gerardmer, France, blends classic French cuisine with regional influences from his native eastern France and the eastern Sierra. Locally grown produce is artfully paired with a seafood terrine or smoked trout for a delectable starter. Favorite main courses include a mixed game selection or a pan-seared veal tenderloin and sea scallops. Desserts are something to be savored; follow a wild blueberry tart or a nougat glace with a rich glass of port. The Lakefront also has a full bar.

The Lakefront’s acclaim has spread beyond the region. The restaurant and chef have garnered praise from such noted sources as Bon Appetit, Sunset, the Los Angeles Times and the San Diego Union-Tribune.

The Lakefront staff invites you to join them for a special evening. Reservations are required. Please call 760.934.3534.
