Opening Day at Vail Mountain was quite a celebration, and that is just the beginning of the fun that the ski resort has planned for the early part of the season.  In addition the opening weekend festivities, Vail will be giving guests entertainment all throughout December as well.  Vail Snow Daze, which is the ski resort’s winter kick-off bash, will be from December 7-13.  Barenaked Ladies will take the stage during the bash on Saturday, December 12 at Ford Park.  There will also be parties, giveaways, and on-mountain events, including the Dummy Demolition Derby and the first annual free Chili Chowdown.

And, to enjoy all the mountain fun, you must purchase your Epic Season Pass.  The unrestricted, unlimited pass is on sale through Sunday, November 22.  The pass is available for $599 for adults and $299 for children ages 5-12 and can be used at all five Vail Resorts–Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Heavenly, as well as at Arapahoe Basin.
