Snowshoe Mountain Resort delaying opening day until December 4

Unfortunately, the nice weather in the Northeast is proving to be a bad thing for local ski resorts.  Snowshoe Mountain in West Virginia is one of those such resorts, as it is postponing its Opening Day from Wednesday, November 25 until Friday, December 4.  There have not been enough opportunities to make snow, and the mountain has only seen four inches of snowfall.  Snowshoe will be operational beginning on the 25th, will off slopes activities such as dining, shopping, and the Big Top Entertainment Centre.  For updates on Opening day and other information, click here
