Mt. Baker (WA) first ski area to pass 100 inch base mark for season

The Pac Northwest is enjoying a monster early season.   Among its stable of ski areas, Mt. Baker in Washington takes first honors for passing the century line in total base.  Yep, it’s not even December and Mt. Baker has hit the 100″ mark.

In the past 20 days, Mt. Baker has received over 190 inches of snowfall.  What pact has been made with the Snow Gods to assure such monstrous amounts of snow this early in the season?  While many spots are just opening with the white ribbon of death, patrons of Mt.
