Ski Idaho resorts release their opening dates for upcoming season

With great early season snow falling all over the country, many ski resorts have already opened or will be open soon.  Today, Ski Idaho released its list of projected opening dates for its member ski areas:

· Bald Mountain Ski Area: Projected opening is the last week in December.
· Brundage Mountain Resort: Snow base at the summit is 18″; 24″ is required to open.
· Grand Targhee Resort: Friday, November 27
· Kelly Canyon Ski Area: Projected opening is Mid-December.
· Lookout Pass Recreation Area: Currently open Friday through Sunday with plans to be open Thursday through Sunday starting November 27. Lookout Pass will be open seven days a week during the holidays.
· Lost Trail Powder Mountain: Projected opening is second or third week of December.
· Magic Mountain Resort: Projected opening is the third week of December.
· Pebble Creek Ski Area: Projected opening between Mid-December and December 25.
· Schweitzer Mountain Resort: Friday, November 27
· Silver Mountain Resort: Friday, November 27
· Sun Valley: Thursday, November 26
* Any Idaho ski areas not listed were unable to project an opening date.
