Snowshoe Mountain opens today with four inches of fresh snow

Today was Opening Day at Snowshoe Mountain in West Virginia, and Mother Nature had a little present of her own to give the ski resort: Four inches of snow fell Friday night and was there to greet guests when they arrived today.  Ten trails are open, and skiing and riding are both available all day from 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.  The snow was predicted to fall all weekend, and the resort should be able to open up more terrain for next weekend as more snow is in the forecast, as well as more snowmaking.
