Winter storm hits Mt. Washington Valley, leaving almost a foot of snow

The massive winter storm that is hitting most of the U.S. is coming at a very opportune time, as several ski resorts are open or are opening soon and are enjoying the snow.  Mt. Washington Valley in New Hampshire has received anywhere from 8-12 inches over the last few days, and it’s right in the nick of time:  Wildcat Mountain is opening Friday, and Attitash, Cranmore, King Pine, and Shawnee Peak are all opening Saturday.  Check out the snow stick at Attitash from today, which is almost at one foot of snow!
