A very powerful winter storm has slammed into the East Coast, bringing with it snow up north and rain down south.  West Virginia may not seem like the north, but it looks like it, as Snowshoe Mountain Resort has received 21 inches of snow thus far.  Weather forecasts are predicting an additional 20 inches, which means the ski resort could see over 40 inches in total!  The new accumulation means that conditions at Snowshoe will be great for the upcoming holiday, as there are already over 100 acres of terrain open for skiers and boarders.
