March Vacation Deals at Smugglers’ Notch Resort

Winter vacations build to a climax in March and April for good reason: plentiful snow with increasing hours of daylight and accompanying milder temperatures. It is prime time to take advantage of Smugglers’ spring value pricing that is conservative on the pocketbook but not on the inclusions of the Club Smugglers’ Advantage Package or other Resort activities offered.

  • Smuggs special Winter Escape Package is available ongoing through April 4, 2010 starting at $75 per person, per night. The package includes mountainside lodging, indoor pool, hot tubs, FunZone family entertainment center, snow tubing, outdoor ice skating, 2 Hour Winter Walking Program (Monday-Friday), and evening entertainment.
  • Smugglers’ Easter Vacation SuperSaver Special Package runs the whole Easter Holiday Week from March 28 – April 4, 2010 with nightly rates at $109 per adult and $99 per youth (17 and younger). The Easter Package mirrors the popular Club Smugglers’ Advantage Package with all the inclusions of condominium lodging, daily lift tickets, lessons for all family members, outdoor activities and indoor family entertainment. The SuperSaver rates are the lowest of the season.

Bonus Easter activities: On Easter Sunday morning, April 4th, Smugglers’ hosts a 7:00 am sunrise service with complimentary lift rides to the top of Sterling Mountain. Guests may take a run down the mountain afterwards or ride the lift back to the base. For kids and their parents Garry the FunMeister offers a candy hunt and egg- themed games in the afternoon.

  • Complimentary first day at Treasures Child Care Center: Treasures is extending a special complimentary first day visit to children six weeks through three years old from March first and through April 4, 2010 when their parents stay three nights or longer on a Smugglers’ Vacation Package. “We want to show the wee ones a day of nurturing and happy experiences with our caring and professional staff and we want to show parents our state-of-the-art million dollar wonderland with all the bells and whistles that kiddies love,” explains Shelley Schaffer, director. “With the kiddies well taken care of we hope mom and dad will rediscover a carefree day spent with each other outdoors or in personal activities.” Treasures is fully licensed by the state of Vermont and open daily 8:30 am – 4:00 pm. Questions and reservations are welcome at Treasures at 802-644-1180; reservations can also be made through Smugglers’ call center at 1-800-451-8752.
  • Big event: March 20, 2010 is the date for the Helly Hansen Big Mountain Battle. For the second year at Smuggs two-person teams of skiers or riders use strategy and athleticism to work their way through an intense three-hour-long mountain course. Teams are tracked using Flaik GPS. The winning team competes in the finals in Aspen. Details and registration are available at http://www.smuggs.com/events
