Good news for all of you in or planning to be in Crested Butte anytime soon: As a result of a huge storm, 28 inches of snow has fallen in the last week! Our sources at the ski resort are reporting epic conditions, as the sun was shining and it was definitely a bluebird day.  And the snow came right in time, as the ski resort hosted the 30th Annual Prater Cup an the 19th Annual Subaru Extreme Freeskiing Championships this past weekend.  Griffin Post, Cliff Bennett, and local skier Caleb Mullen rounded out the boys’ podium, while Vail local Claudia Bouvier took home the women’s title.  The Prater Cup had two hundred 11 and 12 year racers compete in the Super-G, Slalom, and GS with the goal of qualifying for the J4 Rocky Mountain Championships.
