It’s been a snowy winter for much of the U.S., and the Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort is one of the ski areas that has benefitted from the tremendous winter.  The ski resort opened sooner than expected, in early October, and has announced today that it will stay open until April 18.  Typically, it is open between Thanksgiving and Easter, so this season will be over a month and a half longer.  So far, over 14 feet of snow have fallen this season, and more is expected to come.
