There’s good news coming from the ski resort economy, as occupancy rate numbers from February at Western mountain resorts came in 2.7 higher than the previous February.  These numbers helped boost the season-to-date numbers into the positive side, which is the first time this winter tht this has happened.  Room bookings made in February through the month of July are also up 12.7 percent when compared to February of 2009, which also showed that things are slightly starting to take a turn for the better.
