Daylight savings becomes family savings at Echo Mountain

To celebrate the official start of spring with the transition to Daylight Savings Time, Echo Mountain is offering a special Family Four Pack to take advantage of the resort’s night skiing-which gets a whole lot lighter starting March 14.

The deal is simple. A Four Pack of lift tickets costs just $99 on weekdays (excluding Tuesdays when the resort is closed) and $119 on weekends. The special pricing begins Monday, March 15 and continues through Sunday, March 28 and is good from when the lifts open at 9am until closing at 9pm-except Sundays when the lifts close at 5pm. Blackout dates are in effect March 29-April 11 but the sweet deal returns Monday, April 12 through the remainder of the season-Sunday, May 2. The caveat: All four lift tickets must be used on the same day they are purchased.

“It’s amazing what a difference daylight savings makes to our night skiing experience because it is so much warmer and lighter once we move the clocks forward,” said Cindy Dady, general manager for Echo Mountain. “And since we are the only Colorado ski area to offer night skiing five nights a week, it just made sense to do a special offer so that families can take advantage of the longer days, warmer temperatures, and soft spring conditions.”
