Warm weather in the spring is not always a good thing, and the people at Hunter Mountain in New York can attest to this.  Because of summer-like temperatures and a large amount of rainfall, officials at the ski resort have decided to end the ski and snowboard season.  In a statement announced today, the staffers said, “Mother Nautre brought us mid-summer weather a little too early this year, topped off with a significant amount of rainfall last night.”  The statement also thanked the patrons that made the season one “for the record books.”
