Faster, bigger, more progressive CTEC triple lift will replace the Summit Triple currently in place at Maine’s Shawnee Peak Ski area.

They are replacing a lift that has been running faithfully since 1984, a Riblet Summit Triple, purchased from Loon Mountain in New Hampshire. The new lift will run about 25% faster, be more comfortable and please the public. Skiers and riders will be able to access the entire mountain area using this chair.

“The CTEC lift has nearly half the number of operational hours as our old Riblet. To ensure the new lift will serve us well for many years, we have essentially replaced or refurbished all of the key components of the lift, reports firsttracksonline.

The chair should be up and running in time for the next ski season.
