Loveland Ski Area sets season-pass prices

With snowmaking tentatively scheduled in just 19 days, Loveland Ski Area announced its season-pass prices on Tuesday.  The adult (ages 23-69) season pass for the Colorado ski area costs $359 for a new passholder and $339 for a renewing passholder. The young adult (ages 15-22) pass runs $269 for new purchases and $249 for renewals. The resort also priced an unrestricted “4-pak” of lift tickets at $119, the same price as last season. The passes and 4-paks go on sale on Friday including availability on the Loveland Ski Area website.

Loveland is particularly attractive for Denver-area skiers at just 53 miles from the city. The ski area literally straddles Interstate 70 as it goes through the Eisenhower Tunnel.

For longer excursions within Colorado, Loveland season-pass holders can take advantage of three free, unrestricted days at Monarch Mountain and three free, unrestricted days at Purgatory at Durango Mountain Resort, plus one day of unguided skiing at Silverton Mountain. While the Monarch connection returns from last season, the arrangements with Purgatory and Silverton are new for this season.
