Squaw  Valley USA unleashed the biggest halfpipe built in Tahoe from their park and pipe pros last weekend.  However don’t fret if you didn’t get the opportunity to ride it yet since it will remain open until May 8, weather and conditions permitting.

The 22-foot halfpipe was designed and cut by acclaimed X Games and Dew Tour Redbull athlete training pipe expert, Frank Wells of Snow Park Technologies. This is what Mr. Wells does best. He has been building pipes for nearly 20 years, including overseeing the 2010 Winter Olympic Games halfpipe construction at Cypress Mountain.

Get to Squaw Valley now. If you have never tamed the wild halfpipe beast, they are offering a killer deal of 50% off of private lessons this week. Sign-up with the Squaw Valley Snowsports School at (530) 452-7263.
