Squaw Valley

In case you didn’t hear, there were many top-notch ski resorts that opened for business this past weekend!

Squaw Valley, Stowe Mountain Resort, Sugarbush Resort, Killington Resort and Okemo Mountain Resort all opened up this weekend, with Squaw Valley opening SIX days EARLY!

And with more winter storm forecasts in the very near future, this is shaping up to be a GREAT 2012/13 Ski and Snowboard Season! Start planning your trips now as fresh new powder will be dumping very soon in some areas, while others are currently being blessed with fresh powder as we speak.

Congratulations again to Squaw Valley for being named the Number 1 Top Ski Resort for the Top 40 Best Ski Resorts in North America by Outside Magazine, posted back on November 5!

With Squaw Valley opening this past Friday, five Tahoe Resorts are currently open, and if this next winter storm cooperates, ALL Tahoe Resorts could be fully operational within the next two weeks, so get pumped up Californians! More good news has come as both Heavenly and Kirkwood received 20″ of fresh NEW snow Saturday night!

Doesn’t this just make you want to drop everything, pack up the car and hit the slopes? I know I do!
