Although the ski and snowboarding season is over at Deer Valley Resort, there’s no need to feel too glum about it. There are still plenty of outdoor activities to partake in, from hiking, to biking, to climbing, all available starting mid-June.
But we here at The Ski Channel understand that even during the off season, we all still think and dream of the next snowfall.
So to keep the stoke of next season smoldering, we got a first-hand look at the fine dining available during the winter season at Empire Canyon Lodge. Head chef Andrew Fletcher was kind enough to provide us with a tantalizing description of the food and dining experience accessible to patrons of the resort.
Frequently touted as one of the top resorts in the United States, Deer Valley has a reputation to uphold in all aspects of its service. Food is one of the most important of these services, and visitors to Deer Valley would be hard pressed to find anything disappointing about Empire Canyon Grill. Garnering an almost perfect score on TripAdvisor, visitors have touted it as elegant, warm, leisurely, and any other positive adjective you can come up with to describe the dining experience.
Couple this top tier restaurant with what is shaping up to be a productive snowfall next season, and it’s no surprise that skiers and boarders of all walks are looking to the coming winter with great excitement. Hope to see you on the slopes!
