A true local favorite, Aspen Highlands boasts steep terrain, groomed cruisers and breathtaking views of the exquisite mudstone peaks affectionately named, Maroon Bells. To attract even more hardcore back country enthusiasts, Aspen Highlands unveiled the high-speed Deep Temerity triple chair in 2005, opening up over 230 acres of brand new advanced and expert terrain. Last year, Aspen Highlands opened the new Canopy Cruiser, adding 18 additional acres of gladed skiing and riding in the Deep Temerity area of the mountain. With these improvements, Aspen Highlands undoubtedly maintains Colorado’s most exquisite and challenging big-mountain terrain.
