Buttermilk Ski Resort, a forgiving mountain to learn on, is the lowest of four peaks within the Aspen Ski Company. When it’s not playing mother hen to newbies and families looking for a open, fun, and inviting mountain to ski or board on, Buttermilk plays host to the annual ESPN Winter X Games. Every January, professional skiers and boarders from all over the globe take advantage of Buttermilk’s five world-class terrain parks, vibrant culture, and picturesque setting. The two mile long ‘Crazy T’rain Park’ includes over 50 rails, jumps, tapletops, hits and spines. In addition to the five terrain parks, Buttermilk boasts a full beginner-friendly park and a legendary superpipe, one of only three in North America.
