Carrie Budding Insider Tips: Deer Valley Resort
Carrie Budding: Events Manager at Deer Valley Resort, Utah
Favorite Trail: Star Gazer. It’s a fun groomer you can cruise so fast on!
Favorite Powder Stash: Centennial Trees and Lady Morgan—those are the best places to find the best stuff.
Favorite Lift: Lady Morgan Express. There are lots of hidden stashes over there.
Favorite Apres-Ski Hangout: In town, that would be the Corner Store at the base of Park City Mountain Resort. It’s the place to be for sure. There are a lot of locals—it’s a lot of fun. It’s a good mix of skiers and snowboarders and there are a lot of tourists, too. But it’s a good group of people.
At Deer Valley, I love the ‘Beach’ at Silverlake. There are these big chairs that are close to the ground, and it feels like you’re on the beach. You can kick back after skiing with a beer and lay in the sun. It’s great!
