Ken Stone takes the reins of Crested Butte
Industry veteran and beloved skiophile Ken Stone has been named the new Chief Operating Officer of Crested Butte. He had been the Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for a little over a year after coming from Telluride where he was their Vice President.
Stone is one of the most respected executives in the ski industry and the appointment is seen by many as a major benefit to Crested Butte which has been on a huge facility upgrade over the last few years. Crested Butte is undoubtedly one of the greatest ski towns in the world and the combination of the facility and Stone should be huge for Crested Butte.
The facility is owned by Triple Peaks LLC the holding company of Tim and Diane Mueller.
