Bounded by the towering peaks of the California Sierra Nevada with scenic views of the high deserts of Nevada and the ranch lands of the Carson Valley, Heavenly offers a glimpse of the surrounding terrain below from its towering 10,067 summit elevation.

4,800 acres of skiable terrain offer skiers miles of thrilling steeps, chutes, powder bowls, moguls, long groomers, gladed runs, numerous terrain parks and breathtaking views. The Mott Canyon and Killebrew double black diamond areas reserved strictly for experts offer steep chutes and huge bumps. After a good dump, Dipper Woods and the treed terrain above the Galaxy chairlift produce some of the best tree skiing in North America. After ripping through the trees, head over to Milky Way Bowl for quality powder and Gunbarrel renowned for its epic moguls.

Sky Express Chairlift on the California side shuttles intermediates up to the top of the long cruiser Liz's Trail and Skyline Trail with access to a myriad of fun intermediate level tree runs. On the other side of the state line, the recently installed Olympic Express chairlift zooms skiers and boarder up 3,533 feet in only four minutes.

Heavenly's maintains five impeccable terrain parks and one superpipe for skiers and riders of every level.

Beginners and all riders looking to improve their skills can venture up to 9,200 feet and sign up for a three day clinic in the ski resort's award winning 15 acre skiing and snowboarding school.
