Vail – Like Nothing on Earth.

The ski resort maintains over 5,000 sprawling acres of skiable terrain across three main sides of the mountain– the front side, the back bowls, and blue sky basin. The front side contains groomed open intermediate cruisers interspersed with faster steeper runs through the pines. The back bowls cover a territory six miles across from edge boundary to boundary.

On bluebird days, most skiers race to the back bowls to explore the vast new territory. These conditions often leave the front side deserted. Staying and checking out the empty front might afford the lucky skier or boarder some fresh tracks or even a run all alone! Terrain park enthusiasts should be sure to venture over to the skillfully maintained halfpipe and hit a few of the jumps and rails alongside some of the world's top competitors.

Once the slopes close, be sure to hitch a ride on the Eagle Gondola to Adventure Ridge for plenty of activities. Once the sun goes down, Vail's nightlife kicks in with world class entertainment: dancing, dining, sleigh rides, and so much more.
