Backside Air
An air performed on the backside wall of a half pipe *Lookers left side of the pipe if your regular, riding left foot forward, and the lookers right if your goofy, riding right foot forward.
Frontside Air
An air performed on the frontside wall of a half pipe *Opposite.
Ollie
A term borrowed from skateboarding in which the rider springs off of the tail of their board and into the air.
Nollie
Again borrowing from a skateboard trick in which the rider springs off of the nose of their board and into the air.
Shifty
When the rider rotates at least 90° in one direction and rotates back to straight. They look really good when there slightly stalled between rotating.
Air to Fakie
In the half pipe taking off of the lip and returning into the transition riding the opposite way with out any rotation.
