Canadaian skier Kaya Turski will hit the slopes this Sunday for the Women’s Ski Slopestyle competition at X Games 2013 in Aspen. Turski is one of the top competitors amongst women slopestyle athletes as she is the most decorated female in slopestyle history, winning the gold many times.
Turski made history with her switch
1080 at the March 2011 Nine Queens Big Air competition in Austria as she was the first woman to ever land the trick. She crushed the move again at the X Games last year to win her third consecutive gold medal.
“I’m one of those types of athletes who thinks about it and visualizes every part of that rotation,” Turski describes in her Red Bull Primed video. “If I can see it in my head, I believe I can do it on snow.”
Check out Turski’s 2013 performance at the X Games this Sunday at 2 PM EST on ESPN.
