Seb Michaud, Stefan Hausl and Tim Dutton give tips and how they prefer their gear for freeriding. Preferences on boots, skis, bindings and the evolution of the gear and how it lets them perform in certain situations. It’s incredible how many variations of gear can be put together to make a rider feel comfortable. No two skiers seem to be alike either. Heigh, weight and angles all contribute to a certain style for sending it of cliffs and skiing powder or arcing turns on piste. A little flex here, a little tweek there, a longer ski, a fatter ski, stiffer boots, softer, baggy clothes, helmets, goggle style and so much go into making each rider a unique expression of creativity and artwork. You gotta love gear!
