Hey everybody. The last time we chatted, I was admiring the sexy tractors of Snowshoe, West Virginia. Click here to watch last week’s leftover Waffles.
The cross country southern road trip continued and our next stop was Atlanta, Georgia. I’ve never been to Hotlanta, but I now know why it’s been given such a nickname. I was only in Atlanta for three days – two of which were spent gallivanting around The Weather Channel headquarters.
Just to give you a little back story as to why I was visiting the studio, I produce a segment called No Boundaries for TWC. It’s a part of the weekend view and covers just about everything – powder days, goggle tans, flying tortillas. No, I’m not a meteorologist or a newscaster. I document my outdoor excursions while making funny observations and people dig it. Click here to watch No Boundaries.

I got an exclusive look at The Weather Channel studios which are impressive to say the least! So many moving parts, tons of televisions and computer monitors, as well as tons of people working on important things in hidden rooms.
I also got the opportunity to film a segment in the studio with Weekend View hosts, Eric Fisher and Jen Carfagno. It was such a crazy experience, which only got better after trying deep fried pickles for the first time. YUM.
Overall, Atlanta was incredible. Everyone at TWC was super nice and I had an amazing time. I also appreciate all of the restaurant and touristy recommendations everyone else sent my way on the Facebook page (facebook.com/SUNDAYWAFFLES). I guess I’ll have to make it back to the ATL to actually give them a try!
