The only action sports camp with a private campus away from the city, Windells in Mount Hood, Oregon has been the training grounds to professional athletes and campers for 22 years.
Spanning 53 acres, Windells features grounds for snowboarding, skiing, skateboarding, and bmx, year round. Palmer Glacier at Timberline Ski Area, home to Windells Private Park, has 100% natural snow all year round, which means kids, adults, and professional athletes can hit the slopes even in the middle of summer!
“On-hill terrain features pro-style halfpipes, table-tops, booters, and mind bending rail set ups. Two private rope tows make for uninterrupted ride time, and campers have an all access pass to the 1.5 miles of perfectly groomed park.” Additionally, Windells features “a 15,000-sq. ft. indoor recreational center, foam pits, t
rampolines, indoor and outdoor skateboarding parks, paintball, fishing ponds, sand volleyball court, basketball courts, tether ball courts, court yard and our very own action sports community of campers, friends and guests.”
Windells highly qualified coaching staff combines focused riding with all-out fun and positive reinforcement. US Olympic Snowboard Coach, Mike Jankowski, and many well-known coaches have put in their time at Windells.
With such a diverse and fully loaded campus it's no wonder Windells is the official camp to US Olympic athletes, and the US Snowboarding team.
Starting tomorrow, July 21st Windells is hosting the 15th annual p2p event on Mt Hood, the longest running 100% free snowboard and skate board contest during the summer months within the north west!
