The Ski Channel is back with the final installment of Moguls, the one on one interview with role model athlete Lindsey Vonn. In this edition, Lindsey talks about her first Olympics in Salt Lake City and her almost-career-ending crash that she tells has changed her life and skiing career for the better. While doctors told her she had a broken back and skiing was highly risky, Lindsey fought back in her typical tough manner and skied the next day!
Lindsey shares with us her experience and drive to stand atop the podium in the discipline of Giant Slalom, the only discipline which has deprived her of a gold medal. While she tells that it has never really been her thing, she has been training and working on her technique to try and add another piece of medal to her already wide arsenal.
In the most open forum of questions so far, Lindsey tells of some personal favorites in the “Fill Me In” section in the video. Here we find out some of Vonn’s inner secrets, from favorite chair lift to the music on her iPod.
It was truly great to have such an extensive and in depth interview with one of the most influential athletes of our time. A great role model for young skiers to look up to, on and off the slopes. Special thanks to Lindsey, and we hope you enjoyed Moguls!
